Default Hero Priorities

I've noticed with my Monk and MM hero that they sometimes have a hard time deciding what to use and when.

Example: Koss (Tank) has 10% health. Master of Whispers (MM) has 10% as well. Dunkoro heals Koss, MoW dies and minions freak out killing team.

Example 2: Mow has 2 minions. 1 Bone horror and 1 Bone Fiend. Both have ~5% health, and MoW decides to use Death Nova. He uses it on the Fiend and wastes 5 energy.

My suggestion would be set priorities to skills. Like on the monk hero window, have a priority button that shows 'Party Members', 'Pets', 'Minions', and 'Allies'. You CAN (don't have to) select the priorities in order.

For Minion Masters, have skill and minion priority. Like, what minion you want more of, and wether he/she puts Death Nova on a Minion, Party Member, etc.

And its all optional, you wouldn't HAVE to.

Just an idea.

I totally agree with this concept. I was thinking something the along the same lines last night. Like I want a battery Necro, so I would only like it to cast BiP on monks only and ignore everyone esle in the party. Maybe a percentage based system to give the chance of spell getting casted as well.

The Heros feature was just added so I'm sure they're gonna improve the use of them. I suppose the priority idea can be in the order of skills used. Sort of like the order you put your skills in to determine which ones the Doppleganger will use.

Would be nice if it could be done but this sounds a bit complicated.

Heros do need some type of skill priority though. Ele heroes should be using their attunements whenever theirs runs out for example.

I want to be able to give heros skill priorities and target priorities. I don't want to have to tell Margrid to interrupt the monk every single time we encounter one.

How it is now:
Me: Margrid! Monk! Kill!
Margrid: Monk, spam non interrupts wasting time and energy.
Me: "Posses Margrid to stop her from screwing up."

How it should be:
Margrid: Oh a monk, start shooting interrupts when available.

Note: It's not really this bad, the interrupts show up most of the time, but the alternate targeting system is a bit harsh for a warrior since you'll be running AT the thing you selected for your Hero to target. Casters have less of an issue with this.

It just seems like the programming to set all these features are more than the effort they want to put into it. I rather have them doing something else....AI is, and will always be imperfect.
